There are two basic methods of rhinoplasty – open and closed. In the open technique, an external incision is made along the bottom of the nose, and the nasal skin is peeled back. In the closed technique, the incisions are placed inside the nose, therefore leaving no external scars.

They also have developed an intra-operative protocol that dramatically reduces bleeding and bruising, allowing for faster recovery. By the time the nasal splint is removed, usually on the sixth postoperative day, their patients are looking significantly better than before surgery and able to resume their normal activities.
