Dermal Fillers Before and After
Dermal fillers are minimally invasive injectables designed to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Made primarily of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring compound in the skin, fillers address the loss of volume that occurs with age. This helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines, static wrinkles, and scars while restoring a youthful, refreshed look. Common treatment areas include the cheeks, lips, jawline, and nose, where fillers can plump, lift, and improve contour for a balanced and natural-looking result.

Dermal Fillers FAQ
Dermal fillers typically last for 6–12 months, with the hyaluronic acid being naturally metabolized over time.
Botox and dermal fillers do not provide the same effects. While Botox is useful for suppressing muscle movement that contributes to dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions, dermal fillers target at-rest wrinkles caused by loss of facial volume.
Because dermal fillers are considered a cosmetic, elective treatment, they are generally not covered by insurance. There are many payment plan options available, which can be discussed in detail during your consultation.
Many fillers made of hyaluronic acid are designed to be naturally metabolized by the body over the course of 6–12 months.
Most people who have received filler injections consider it to be a worthwhile investment. However, results may vary and no procedure comes without risk —so it’s important to only receive treatment from an experienced and board-certified injectionist.
