Breast Augmentation Results In Larger, Fuller And More Attractive Breasts.
Breast augmentation results in larger, fuller and more attractive breasts. At Palmer Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Palmer has worked with thousands of breast implant patients in Florida. Most women choose breast lift with implants because they have breasts that are small, uneven, flat or unattractive.
How Is Breast Augmentation Performed?
To perform a breast enhancement, Dr. Palmer will use implants filled with either a saline (saltwater) solution or silicone gel. Both types of breast implants are safe and affordable, and both help women achieve their desired results.
A saline implant is inserted empty, and filled intra-operatively with sterile saline. A silicone implant is prefilled by the manufacturer. Therefore, the saline implant gives the surgeon more flexibility and precision in sizing and shaping the breast, whereas the silicone implant can have a lower incidence of rippling and sometimes a better feel since the silicone gel is thicker than saline.
The incisions to insert an implant are barely visible, and Dr. Palmer regularly uses both the periareolar and the inframammary incision. He does not recommend the axillary (armpit) incision or the umbilical (belly button) incision, and he will discuss your choice of incision at your consultation.
At Palmer Cosmetic Surgery, our breast enhancement procedures are done on an outpatient basis, in the privacy and comfort of our fully accredited (AAAASF) cosmetic surgery suite in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Fla.
Your breast implant procedure will typically take one hour, with minimal post-operative discomfort and little downtime. Patients can usually return to work and normal activity within three to five days. All implants used at Palmer Cosmetic Surgery are FDA-approved and come with a lifetime warranty.
Dr. Palmer is well known for his highly effective post-operative pain control techniques that dramatically reduce, and in many cases eliminate post-operative pain resulting in faster, safer and more comfortable recoveries.
